I must admit that I did not get a chance to meet Brian at AWP. I was sitting at home tonight watching the show when I saw his name on screen next to "What Every Soldier Should Know."
I said, "Holy shit! I think that's one of our poetry editors," and immediately called Steve.
Rachel answered the phone, "You must be watching the Oscars. Hold on. I'll let you talk to Steve. He's very excited, too."
